Andrew's Journal Day 6 (May 4th)

Day 6   May 4, 2009  Andrew:

When we woke up today we go down to the school to help teach a computer class.  Very few of the students even know how to turn them on.  After a two and a half hour class teaching the basics, we head out to the local market.  After meeting the familiar stares, we buy all sorts of supplies, most in preparation for Henry and his family, who are coming tomorrow.  As we walk back, the children run out of their houses to greet the Mezungas.  They yell “Howw aree youuuuu?”  And when we respond “good, how are you?” it is clear that “how are you” is the extent of their English because they continue to yell “howw aree youuuu” over and over as we pass.  When we got back we had dinner and went to bed.
